DoorDash is a US technology company that connects people with the best of their neighbourhoods across the US, Canada, Australia, Japan, and Germany. By building last-mile logistics infrastructure for local commerce, its mission is to grow and empower local economies.

Flink was founded in 2020 in Germany to bring consumers fresh groceries to their door in minutes. It has more than 140 micro-fulfilment centres across dozens of cities in four countries, including Germany, France and the Netherlands. It was valued at USD 2.1 billion before its new Series B funding round. 

DoorDash invested as lead investor as part of Flink's funding round which raised USD 750 million in total. It will be used to expand its market position in Europe's quick commerce sector.
