Rüdiger Bonnmann heads the German real estate law practice group at Osborne Clarke. He has been advising well-known companies in the most important areas of real estate business law for almost 30 years.
He specialises in advising project developers, investors, insurance companies and other companies in the real estate industry. He focuses on private and public construction law, project-related advice and commercial landlord and tenant law, in particular advising companies on leasing new locations and company headquarters. He also advises on real estate transactions, in particular forward deals (both asset and share deals).
He is co-editor of the practical handbook "Gewerberaummiete" (Commercial Tenancy) and author of numerous essays and articles on real estate law. He is a regular speaker on real estate law topics at meetings and conferences.
Rüdiger Bonnmann has been a lawyer since 1992, a specialist lawyer for administrative law since 1998 and a specialist lawyer for tenancy and residential property law since 2012. Before joining Osborne Clarke in 2013, he was a partner at a German, internationally active commercial law firm in Cologne since 2000
