Florian Merkle

Florian Merkle advises on all matters regarding national and international tax law.
His focus is on M&A, restructuring, tax planning, tax optimisation of cross-border investments and the implementation of tax-optimised structures.
Florian studied law in Konstanz, Lausanne and Munich. After working for a big energy company and an international law firm during his legal training at the Munich Higher Regional Court, he started his career in the financial service team of a Big Four accounting firm in 2012. In 2013 he joined the M&A tax team, advising Private Equity firms and international corporations on tax implications of acquisitions, disposals, refinancing and restructurings.
Florian started in Osborne Clarke’s Cologne office in January 2017. In April 2017 he was admitted as tax advisor.
