With more than one million visits per month, Daily Deal GmbH has generated an eight digit revenue over the past year, sharing a market leading position with Groupon. The company was founded in 2009 by Fabian and Ferry Heilemann and was sold to Google in 2009, as advised at the time by Osborne Clarke. Fabian and Ferry Heilemann then bought back the company in 2013 again using Osborne Clarke as its legal advisers.

MenschDanke GmbH acquires 100 per cent of the shares of the associated company Sky & Sand GmbH (Fabian und Ferry Heilemann). The acquisition price is in the single-digit million euro range.

The Osborne Clarke team that advised on the sale was led by Partners Nicolas Gabrysch and Rudolf Hübner who were assisted by Rouven Siegemund (M&A corporate law) and Konstantin Ewald (Tax law).
