Woolard Review

The Financial Conduct Authority recently published (2 February 2021) a review by its former interim chief executive, Christopher Woolard, on change and innovation in the unsecured credit market. The Woolard Review sets out 26 high-level recommendations for the UK financial watchdog and government.

This series looks at aspects of the review and its recommendations, including: fintech product innovations and risks; information and reference agencies; high-cost credit; debt advice solutions; the future role of regulation; and forbearance.
