International legal practice Osborne Clarke has advised the senior management teams of Kennet Partners and Eight Roads Ventures on its sale of Rivo Software to Sphera Solutions. 

With footprint across Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific, Rivo Software is globally recognised as an industry leader in cloud-based Health and Safety software, which supports international brands with managing incidents, audits and inspections, corrective actions, and other corporate risk and compliance reporting.

Sphera Solutions is the largest global provider of Operational Excellence software and information services with a focus on Operational Risk, Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S), and Product Stewardship.

The acquisition serves to expand Sphera’s portfolio of cloud-based applications, enhance its breadth of health and safety software solutions and services, and further increase its global presence.

The Osborne Clarke team that advised on the matter was led by corporate Partner Mathias Loertscher who was supported by Associate John Jarvis. Advice was provided on tax matters by corporate tax Partner Michael Carter who was supported by Associate Alistair Godwin and Associate Samuel Marriott.
