Mikael is an experienced corporate commercial lawyer, focusing on venture capital, technology transactions and employment work.

He has over 20 years’ experience of advising investors, management teams and companies in the Tech, Media and Comms sector on venture and growth capital transactions, commercial technology deals, outsourcing and employment matters.

Mikael is based in Osborne Clarke’s Stockholm office and he represents venture capital funds, global technology companies, international corporates and emerging tech companies on their legal challenges in Sweden and the Nordics. His practice includes company formations, equity financings, exits/M&A and commercial transactions, such as outsourcing and licensing deals. He also advises on all aspects of employment, employee benefits, restructurings, incentivisation and pensions matters.

Mikael has previously worked at another global law firm and a sector focused local firm.

Mikael holds an LLM and is a member of the Swedish Bar Association.

In addition to his native Swedish, Mikael is also fluent in English.
