Mikael Nelson
Mikael is a corporate finance partner in Osborne Clarke's Stockholm office. He advises on the full spectrum of equity and debt financings and corporate transactions, including M&A, venture capital and growth investments, private equity transactions, corporate lending, venture debt, back-leverage financing, acquisition finance and real estate financing, as well as technology-driven and cross‑border transactions.
Mikael acts for sponsors, major international and Nordic banks, other financial institutions, debt funds, corporates and management teams on a wide range of corporate and financing matters. He represents companies at all stages of their development – from early‑stage and high‑growth businesses through to listed and global groups and large multinationals – and regularly coordinates multi‑jurisdictional financing structures.
He has extensive experience across Osborne Clarke’s key sectors, with a particular focus on technology, media and communications, life sciences and healthcare, financial services, energy and energy transformation and workforce solutions. Mikael regularly helps clients in these sectors to structure and execute strategic M&A, growth equity and financing transactions that support their broader commercial and transformation objectives.
Mikael has previously worked at the global law firm Linklaters and at a sector‑focused local firm, bringing together international corporate finance expertise with deep, sector‑specific insight for both Nordic and international clients.
