Osborne Clarke Sweden has advised Five Elms Capital on its $40 million Series A investment in Magma Math, a leading K-12 instructional math platform.
The funding round saw participation from previous investors, team members, and industry experts. The investment will be used to enhance Magma Math’s platform for students, teachers, and district partners in the US, UK, and Sweden, focusing on expanding curriculum offerings, enhancing user experience with AI capabilities, and scaling operations.
Magma Math, established in 2015, has become an industry leader in its home market of Sweden and has expanded to the US, forming district partnerships in over 30 states since 2021. The platform is known for revolutionising math education by making it more accessible, personalised, and engaging.
