International legal practice Osborne Clarke has advised Yazen Health, a Swedish digital healthcare provider specialising in medical obesity treatment, on its €50 million funding round led by European growth investor Verdane, with continued participation from existing investor Evli Growth Partners.
The transaction highlights Osborne Clarke’s expertise in the Life Sciences and Healthcare sector, bringing together corporate transactional experience and an understanding of digitally enabled healthcare to support businesses as they secure investment and scale.
The investment will support Yazen’s expansion across Europe and the scaling of its evidence-based care model, which combines weight-loss medication with continuous digital care from a multidisciplinary clinical team.
Headquartered in Sweden and operating across eight European countries, Yazen treats obesity as a chronic disease. Its care model brings together doctors, dietitians, psychologists, physiotherapists and health coaches to provide accessible, long-term treatment. The company currently has more than 50,000 patients in active treatment and has supported over 70,000 patients in total.
Our work with Yazen brings together Osborne Clarke’s corporate transactional expertise and understanding of digitally enabled healthcare.
