Osborne Clarke has advised the investment funds Forepont Capital Partners, Alven Capital Partners and Red River West in the Series A round of financing in Okeiro (ex Predict4Health).
Okeiro has developed a predictive algorithm to improve transplant patients’ lives and healthcare systems by postponing organ failure through easy clinical data communication, document storage, and dedicated therapeutic programs. The funding will accelerate the development of this business.
Forepont Capital Partners is a healthcare and life science venture capital firm based in New York with a strong presence in Europe. Forepont Capital Partners invests in early-stage companies whose science and technology are intended to positively impact the lives of patients.
Alven Capital Partners is a French venture capital firm that primarily invests in innovative early-stage companies in Europe, with a particular focus on opportunities in SaaS, fintech, and marketplaces.
Red River West is a cross-border hands-on venture capital firm that supports tech start-ups in Europe in their growth in the United States.
Osborne Clarke's teams were involved in the legal and HR due diligence, as well as in the drafting and negotiation of the legal documentation relating to the transaction.
