Osborne Clarke has advised BFB Brandenburg Kapital GmbH, a subsidiary of Brandenburger Förderbank ILB, on its investment in Cinuru Research GmbH. Further investors are Next Media Accelerator (NMA) from Hamburg and a business angel. The seven-figure investment will be used for further growth and technological development of the CRM system for cinemas.

Cinuru Research GmbH is a provider of an app-based customer loyalty system for cinemas. The company was founded in 2017 as a spin-off from the Film University Babelsberg and the Hasso Plattner Institute. In 2017, the HPI Seed Fund invested in the company and enabled its market entry.

The Investment Bank of the Land of Brandenburg (ILB) manages various investment funds that finance growth and innovation-oriented companies based and/or operating in Brandenburg. BFB Brandenburg Kapital acquires, manages, holds and sells open and silent participations in high-growth technology companies in their early and growth phases.

An Osborne Clarke team led by Till-Manuel Saur advised Brandenburg Kapital on the investment. The team included Dr Sophie Hoffmann (both corporate), Konni Ewald, Adrian Schneider, Judith Hoffmann, Benjamin Schaum (all IT), Nora Hendricks-Wirtz and Sylvia Wörz (both employment law).
