Osborne Clarke advised GEODIS, a global leader in transport and logistics, on legal, social and tax due diligence aspects related to the acquisition of Groupe Malherbe.

GEODIS takes another step in its growth strategy with the integration of Malherbe, a leading specialist in full truckload road transport.

This acquisition is part of the Group's desire to strengthen its presence in the French road freight transport market, broaden its geographical coverage and accelerate the growth of European road transport activities within its network, while positioning itself as a leader in the transport sector’s transition to decarbonization. It will also enable the group to strengthen its position in the agri-food market.

The transaction will be concluded on completion of the customary regulatory formalities.
