Patrick Seiler advises companies of all sizes, sectors and legal forms on all matters regarding national and international tax law.

He is specialised in providing tax advice for corporate acquisitions (M&A transactions) and restructurings as well as in the establishment of tax-optimised structures. In addition, Patrick has proven expertise in criminal tax law and in assisting clients in tax audit proceedings.

Patrick studied tax law at the University of Applied Sciences for Finance North Rhine-Westphalia in Nordkirchen (Dipl.-Finanzwirt (FH)) and at the University of Applied Sciences in Aalen (M.A.). While studying, he completed his preparatory service for the higher service in the State Financial Administration of North Rhine-Westphalia. After completing his preparatory service, he was a civil servant at a Tax Office of the State Financial Administration of North Rhine-Westphalia until March 2020, most recently as a tax auditor. From April 2020 until April 2022, Patrick worked for a renowned, tax-centred law firm in Bonn.

In May 2022, Patrick joined Osborne Clarke in the Cologne office. He successfully qualified as a tax advisor in 2017 and was appointed as a tax advisor after leaving the State Financial Administration of North Rhine-Westphalia in April 2020.
