International legal practice Osborne Clarke won Corporate Law Firm of the Year at last night's ceremony. The awards highlight South West businesses that have excelled in deal making.
The Law Firm of the Year award was given to Osborne Clarke in recognition of the large number of high profile deals the firm's Corporate team has completed in the South West in the last year. Insider singled out several stand-out deals the team has worked on including: the Permira-backed MBO of international orthopaedic firm Corin, the acquisition of CM Downton by EmergeVest and the acquisition of Cloud Savings Company by Groupon.
In addition to this latest win, the team were shortlisted for Corporate Team of the Year at The Lawyer Awards 2019. In April, Osborne Clarke won Law Firm of the Year at the Thames Valley Deals Awards and the firm won Best Corporate Culture at the Managing Partners Forum Awards in March. The firm has also ranked in the top five of RollOnFriday’s independent Firm of the Year employee survey for the last three years
