Osborne Clarke has advised PartnerFonds AG on the off-exchange 44% acquisition of publicly listed Blue Cap AG from the founder and former major shareholder Dr Hannspeter Schubert. Schubert will now become the largest shareholder of PartnerFonds AG overseeing the successful growth of Blue Cap AG and its portfolio companies.
Munich-based PartnerFonds AG, has invested in high-growth and mid-sized companies targeting majority ownership for the last ten years. The company commands around EUR 100 million equity capital and invests in industrial characterised companies. Munich-based Blue Cap AG is a publicly listed company and has invested in mid-sized technology-driven companies for ten years.
The combination of both companies creates a powerful corporate alliance consisting of 20 businesses that are in established growth sectors, with consolidated total sales of around EUR 250 million.
