Osborne Clarke advises Backbone on acquisition of IMOGENT GmbH

Osborne Clarke has advised Backbone, producer of imagery for the real estate market, on the acquisition of property marketer IMOGENT GmbH.

Founded in 2018 and headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, Backbone offers its clients a market-leading solution for the production and management of all types of imagery for the real estate market. The offering ranges from photos and videos, drone footage and virtual tours to images and floor plans created using 3D computer graphics, all of which can be ordered and accessed by customers on a single platform.

Backbone is now joining forces with its competitor IMOGENT GmbH: Founded in 2018, the proptech also focuses on digitalisation and process automation in property marketing and provides real estate agents and companies with various service providers, from drone pilots to 3D artists, united on one platform as a one-stop solution.

Together, the two companies want to redefine property sales and marketing in the DACH region. The vision: to create a future where every property professional is equipped with the most advanced, intuitive tools and services to make every transaction smoother, faster and more efficient. The strategic merger will create a combined property marketing services platform comprising over 10 products and services. The portfolio will also expand to include the provision of energy certificates and assessments.
