Dr Florian Eisenmenger

Dr Florian Eisenmenger advises German and international clients on legal issues arising from digital transformation. He is a certified specialist lawyer for IT law with extensive experience in data protection law.
He supports both established and emerging businesses in identifying, understanding and implementing the relevant requirements of German and European digital and cybersecurity law from an early stage. In doing so, he helps companies future‑proof traditional business models and design innovative business models in a legally compliant manner.
In his practice, he particularly focuses on advising clients on all aspects of data protection law, including supporting companies with their communications with data protection authorities, compliance requirements under cybersecurity law (NIS2, CER, CRA), implementing consumer protection law requirements in the context of e‑commerce and digital business models, and identifying and assessing legal risks in due diligence processes, particularly for start‑ups and healthcare companies.
Florian studied law in Erlangen and Cork (Ireland) and completed his doctoral thesis on criminal investigations in social networks at Friedrich‑Alexander University Erlangen‑Nuremberg. Before joining Osborne Clarke, he worked at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and at another leading international law firm, where he was part of the IT law practice group. He is a regular speaker, for example as part of the OC Data Deep Dives, at workshops for start‑ups and for industry associations.
