Dr Florian Eisenmenger advises national and international companies on all legal issues relating to IT law with a focus on German and European data protection law.

His particular focus lies on the assistance with the analysis and practical implementation of data protection law related requirements, such as requirements in connection with international and group-internal data transfers, website tracking and advertising, transparency requirements, data subject rights, the roll-out of IT systems, data protection impact assessments as well as the (international) coordination of such projects. Furthermore, Florian advises on IT licensing agreements, IT related consumer protection law requirements, and marketing law.

Florian has experience representing companies before German data protection authorities in case of audits and investigations. Furthermore, he has advised on international data protection compliance projects for companies of various sizes and has in-depth knowledge of business digitalization projects. 

Florian studied law in Erlangen and Cork (Ireland). He completed his doctorate on a topic related to criminal procedure at the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. Prior to joining Osborne Clarke, he worked, inter alia, at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and one of the leading international law firms, where he was part of the IT practice group.
