Kamissa Kruse
Kamissa Kruse advises national and international companies on individual and collective employment law, in particular in the technology, media and telecommunications sector. Her advisory focus is on the future of work, HR compliance issues with a focus on remuneration models, as well as employment law support in VC transactions.
Kamissa supports companies in the introduction, adaptation and legal safeguarding of modern forms of work and digital working environments (“Safe New Work”). This includes, for example, remote and mobile work concepts, cross-border working models (e.g. workation, international workforce) as well as aligning the relevant rules with internal stakeholders. In this context, she advises, among other things, international companies on employment law aspects of establishing their business in Germany.
As part of her HR compliance practice, Kamissa advises in particular on complex remuneration models and on the legally sound distinction between employment relationships and freelance work (false self-employment). She assists companies with the design and implementation of remuneration structures and variable compensation systems, as well as with the drafting of internal remuneration policies. In cases requiring investigation and clarification – for example in the event of breaches of duties in these areas – she supports clients in court and out of court with a structured, de-escalating approach, and thus regularly achieves swift and sustainable solutions.
Another focus of her advice is on venture-capital-financed companies. Kamissa provides employment law support to these companies along their growth path – from structuring the first employment relationships and designing incentive schemes (benefits) through to employment law due diligence.
Kamissa studied law in Düsseldorf and Spain (University of Jaén), supplemented by additional studies in Anglo-American law. During her studies and legal traineeship, she worked, among other things, for leading international commercial law firms and a federal ministry. She has been working as a lawyer at Osborne Clarke since 2019 and regularly publishes on employment law topics. In 2025, she completed training as a mediator.
I support our clients at every stage of their development in shaping the future of work in a legally compliant and pragmatic way. My de-escalating and forward-looking advice is aimed at defusing conflicts at an early stage and creating sustainable solutions – based on clear positions and a consistent representation of their interests.
