Salary and benefits
We are looking for someone who:
- has 5 to 8 years of experience in commercial law with a specific interest for the retail sector (distribution, commercial leases, litigation)
- is a true team player, with an international mindset;
- is rigorous, precise, pro-active and pragmatic;
- is a native French speaker with excellent knowledge of English and a good command of Dutch;
- possesses a law degree with excellent academic results; a master's degree in English is a plus;
- has good oral and written communications skills.

We offer you the opportunity to work with our team and with other departments to advise a variety of (international) clients ranging from start-ups, growth-stage and multinational companies and entrepreneurs, mainly active in the retail sector and modern technologies (Technology & Media, FinTech, Life Sciences and Healthcare).
You will assist a large number of local and foreign distributors to set up their development strategy, adapt their working methods to the considered market, including the management of their network in Belgium and abroad. Taking a global approach, you will gain expertise on all the legal domains related to the retail sector, such as distribution contracts (franchise, exclusive distributorship, agency, etc.), commercial lease contracts, transfers of business, trade practices (publicity, commercial promotions, brands), antitrust (vertical restrictions), GDPR and intellectual property issues.
