Dr Jana Bertus advises national and international companies, shareholders and investors on venture capital, private equity and M&A transactions as well as on all matters of general corporate law.

She also provides legal guidance to new entrepreneurs and start-ups as well as foreign clients in relation to establishing and expanding their business operations in Germany.

Jana qualified as a lawyer in 2020. She studied law in Cologne and Bergen, Norway. After finishing her dissertation on ad hoc publicity, she completed her legal traineeship in Cologne, Tokyo and Hong Kong. Before joining Osborne Clarke in 2022, she worked for a German law firm in the area of restructuring and M&A.
