Osborne Clarke advises Air Street Capital on Series B financing round for AI robotics start-up Sereact
Published on 30th April 2026
Osborne Clarke has provided legal advice to Air Street Capital on its investment in the Series B financing round of Stuttgart-based AI robotics company Sereact. The round, led by Headline, has a total volume of around USD 110 million. In addition to new investors such as Bullhound Capital, Daphni and Felix Capital, existing investors Creandum and Point Nine also participated.
With the Series B financing, Sereact aims to drive the scaling of its ‘robot brain’ Cortex 2 and accelerate its entry into the US market. The company plans to open its first US location in Boston, where it intends to hire employees in the areas of sales, applications and engineering.
Artificial intelligence for robots in the physical world
Sereact develops AI models and software for robots that operate in the physical world and automate pick-and-pack processes in warehouses and production environments. The solutions of the company, founded in 2021, are already used in a wide variety of warehouse and logistics set-ups; according to the company, around 200 systems are currently in operation across Europe. This makes Sereact one of the most widely deployed providers of AI-based order-picking robots.
A key focus of the technological development is on combining computer vision systems with large language models. With products such as the robotics transformer ‘PickGPT’, Sereact enables robots to understand natural language while simultaneously perceiving their surroundings with high precision. The systems can be controlled via a chatbot interface and thus address the demand from e-commerce, manufacturing and 3PL companies for rapidly deployable, flexibly adaptable automation solutions that can also handle changing product ranges.
Air Street Capital has been an investor in Sereact since the 2023 seed financing round and supports the start-up in implementing its growth strategy in the field of physical AI. By reinvesting in the Series B round, the investor underlines its focus on leading AI companies at the interface of research, software and industrial use cases.
Comprehensive advice in the context of growth financing
Osborne Clarke advised Air Street Capital on all material legal aspects of the investment. The advice particularly covered the negotiation and structuring of the investment documentation for the Series B financing round, as well as corporate law and venture capital-specific issues.
The Osborne Clarke team was jointly led by Giovanni Alexandrov and Robin Eyben and also included Vanessa Petre Linbenciuc (all Corporate / Venture Capital).
