Tom is a specialist construction and engineering lawyer with a particular interest in the energy, infrastructure and advanced manufacturing sectors.

Tom advises on project risk management and on all forms of dispute resolution including international arbitration and court proceedings as well as mediation and adjudication. He advises on the major standard form construction contracts such as FIDIC, JCT, IChemE etc. and has worked on projects all around the world including recently in Argentina, Australia, Germany, Singapore, Sweden and Uzbekistan.

Tom has conducted numerous arbitrations to final award including under the LCIA, ICC, SCC and SIAC rules. He co-manages the International Arbitration Group Non-Partners network at Osborne Clarke, which has over 40 members in 8 jurisdictions.

Tom is also a core member of Osborne Clarke’s Smart Cities team. He is a regular speaker at events and has written numerous articles on construction technology and digital infrastructure.

Before joining Osborne Clarke in July 2016, Tom trained and practised at Pinsent Masons from 2011 to 2016.
