Intellectual Property Roles at Osborne Clarke
We're looking for dynamic individuals at all levels who want to be part of our next phase of growth
Intellectual Property at Osborne Clarke has seen tremendous growth over the last five years, increasing its revenue by 250% in that time. But our ambitions don't stop there. We have plans to continue that trajectory and double the size of IP in the UK over the next 18-24 months.
We are looking for dynamic individuals at all levels who want to be part of this next phase of growth in a key strategic area of focus for the firm.
The UK IP team works across pharmaceutical and biotech; technology, media, and communications; and retail and consumer industries. The team is complemented by a network of more than 100 experts in all areas of IP across Europe and Asia. Our highly talented people are regularly praised for their ground-breaking work and recognised by Juve, The Times Best Law Firms, Managing IP and many others.
Though our UK IP team is predominantly based in London, we are keen to hear from IP professionals, across all levels of qualification based in any of Osborne Clarke's UK locations, who are interested in joining the team. To get in touch for a confidential discussion, please email us.

Our IP specialists ensure clients extract maximum value out of the exploitation of their IP through licensing, partnering or disposal. We focus on their commercial priorities, while managing legal risks, to provide creative and cost-effective solutions. We advise on the full range of issues that arise when businesses engage in third-party collaborations and licences, demergers and group IP holding structures. We also help realise the balance-sheet value of registered and unregistered IP assets through the creation of innovative tech solutions that can support an IP audit process and create a live database to record registered and unregistered IP assets which unlocks the value of IP in core products and is business-centric in its functionality (e.g. searchability by product, geography, revenue contribution by Division).
Advising one of the world's largest data, analytics and insights companies on a global IP audit and providing strategic IP ownership, enforcement and exploitation advice.
ASLAN Pharmaceuticals on all their in-licenses of drug compounds, collaboration agreements and subsequent out-licenses; and SynTech Bio-Energy on their complex negotiations on technology licensing and IP ownership issues relating to a collaboration to establish a waste gasification plant.
