International legal practice Osborne Clarke will make up eight Partners and one Legal Director on 1st May 2022. The newly promoted colleagues bring experience across all the firm's key sectors including technology, media and communications; energy and utilities; real estate; infrastructure and financial services sectors and will be based across its London and Bristol offices. 

Jonathan Crowley: advises clients within the advertising, media and communications sector and has particular experience of advising management teams and companies on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, investments and general corporate matters.

Ben Dunham: a specialist in the field of media and digital technology, and part of the Technology, Media and Communications Sector Team. His practice focusses on advertising and consumer law, digital regulation and data protection and e-privacy.

Deborah Harvey: co-head of the international energy innovation subsector, leads the hydrogen group and she is a core member of the decarbonisation team and the Energy Regulatory Advisory Group.

Damocles Merry: specialises in M&A and transactional work for defence, security and aerospace clients, with a strong focus on technology in the sector. He also advises real estate clients on corporate opportunities, including joint ventures and acquisitions of alternative asset classes linked to real estate.

Jonathan Mills: advises on a variety real estate sector matters, including energy and utilities, technology, investment, and development, as well as international expansion and growth.

Nick Price: a financial services sector-expert, who advises regulated firms who are at risk of investigation or enforcement action by regulators, and acts in disputes in the payments, crypto assets, and fintech sectors.

Fiona Sweeting: heads the company secretarial team, providing advice to, and ongoing company secretarial support for, hundreds of UK companies, advising on UK incorporations, and advising overseas companies on setting up business in the UK.

Charlotte Walker: a real estate sector team member specialising in renewable energy, power management and decarbonisation projects.

Additionally, Claire Bowles will be promoted to legal director. She is a core member of the Workforce Solutions practice, and also our transport and automotive and technology, media and communications sectors, where she advises on strategic and high reputational risk employment issues.

The firm also continues to invest strategically in key sectors to support its strategy, having most recently announced multiple appointments including energy and utilities sectors hires John Deacon, Dominic O'Brien and Hannah Roscoe joining from Orrick, Hugo Lidbetter joining form Fieldfisher and financial services sector and payments expert Paul Harris joining from Linklaters. 

Across Osborne Clarke's international business, the firm most recently welcomed laterals including finance partner Anne Vrignaud in France, ESG regulatory special counsel Sern Yang LIU in Singapore, tax specialist Claudio Grisanti in Italy and new employment counsel Bernd De Marrez in Belgium. Dorothée Chambon was promoted to partner and head of the firm's tax practice in France and five partners were promoted in the Netherlands at the start of the year.

In March, Osborne Clarke announced it was opening a Poland office with a 30-strong team based in Warsaw.
