Osborne Clarke announces the appointment of Dorothée Chambon, head of the firm's tax practice, as a partner. With this new appointment, Osborne Clarke France intends to strengthen its service offered to its clients in all major business law practices.

Dorothée Chambon joined Osborne Clarke in October 2020 as counsel and assists French and foreign companies ranging from start-ups to listed groups, as well as their management teams, with their main national and international tax issues.

Dorothée has extensive experience in transactional taxation and advises on mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, project finance and management packages. She has also developed a strong expertise in financial taxation.

Dorothée was a tax specialist before becoming a lawyer and joined the Paris Bar in 2008.  Prior to joining Osborne Clarke, Dorothée worked for 11 years in the Paris office of Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP.

Dorothée Chambon says: "Osborne Clarke has always shown a strong entrepreneurial spirit, which I have been able to fully embrace, and a willingness to support its clients over the long term with a constant focus on providing pragmatic advice. This is reflected in particular in its anticipation of the many legal challenges of digital, societal and environmental transformation and in the formidable team spirit that prevails within a firm driven by its values of excellence, curiosity and solidarity. I am happy to join the community of partners and thank each of them for the trust they have shown me since my arrival.

Catherine Olive and Maxime Pigeon, co-managing partners of Osborne Clarke in Paris, added: "Dorothée's appointment as a partner is both a reward for her expertise and her unwavering commitment since joining the firm to develop our tax team and our tax offering. Her appointment also demonstrates our commitment to supporting our lawyers throughout their career, right up to the partnership stage. We are very pleased to have Dorothée as a partner.”
