Published on 23rd July 2026

Osborne Clarke has advised Pollen Street, the European private equity firm, and its portfolio company Keylane on the completed acquisition of Vereycken & Vereycken, the leading life and pension software provider in Belgium.

Keylane is a leading European provider of highly configurable, customer-centric SaaS platforms for the insurance and pension industry. The acquisition represents Keylane's second since partnering with Pollen Street in 2024, following the earlier acquisition of UK-based pension technology provider Heywood in 2025, and deepens Keylane's technology footprint in the Belgian market.

The transaction highlights Osborne Clarke's strength in advising on cross-border M&A in the technology and financial services sectors.

The Osborne Clarke team advising Pollen Street Capital and Keylane was led by David Haex (Corporate, Belgium) and included, among others, Shahine Kalantari, Tonya Aelbrecht and Gaëtan Cnops (Corporate, Belgium), Laurens Dauwe and Peter Bulcke (IP/IT, Belgium), Bernd De Marrez and Redouan Lakhal (Employment, Belgium), Roderick Nieuwmeyer and Loïck Goddeau (Competition, Belgium), as well as UK colleagues James Taylor and Hannah Stevens (Corporate, UK).
