Osborne Clarke advises the Berentzen Group on the conclusion of a EUR 36 million syndicated loan agreement

Osborne Clarke has advised the listed Berentzen-Gruppe Aktiengesellschaft on the conclusion of a new syndicated loan agreement, led by Norddeutsche Landesbank – Girozentrale – as syndicate leader, for the refinancing of an existing syndicated financing. Further syndicate banks to the new financing are Deutsche Kreditbank Aktiengesellschaft and TARGOBANK AG.

The Berentzen Group, known in particular for spirits and liqueurs under the Berentzen brand, is a broadly positioned beverages company with a corporate history of more than 250 years, which also produces and distributes mineral water, lemonades, soft drinks and freshly squeezed juice systems under other brands.

Osborne Clarke provided comprehensive advice to Berentzen-Gruppe Aktiengesellschaft on the conclusion of the syndicated loan agreement, which took place at the end of April 2026, with Finance Partner Olexiy Oleshchuk and Senior Associate Reinhard Bunjes. At the Berentzen Group, the person responsible was Chief Financial Officer Ralf Brühöfner, under whose leadership the transaction was also accompanied by Dr Tim Ruelmann (Director Corporate Finance & Sustainability) and Uwe Feldmann (Director Corporate Legal & Compliance).

The banking syndicate was advised by Norton Rose Fulbright LLP and, in particular, Dr Bernhard Fiedler, Kristina Thielemann and Loris Neeb.
