Osborne Clarke in Italy appoints the team responsible for defining and implementing OC for Good, the framework tasked with achieving the firm's ESG objectives. At the forefront, managing partner Riccardo Roversi, leading the area of Governance, partner Federica Greggio overseeing the firm's Social responsibility commitment, and senior associate Valeria Veneziano leading on Environmental sustainability.

Riccardo Roversi,  outlining the main points of the roadmap: "We are led by actions: doing and measuring, both in terms of corporate culture and sustainability. We are in the start-up phase of important collaborations that will allow us to produce an objective analysis of our cultural values and our impact on the environment, and to take concrete actions and set ourselves measurable targets. Our current priorities are those of promoting talent within the firm and reaching carbon neutrality".

Federica Greggio: "What constitutes a positive and inclusive working environment? This is the question that leads to the project that we have launched with a leading company in organisational psychology and that will accompany us throughout 2022, helping us to define the values that distinguish our culture and to develop coherent professional growth paths. A strategy that embraces the highly topical issues of inclusion and diversity and which places people and the full development of their talents  at the centre of the firm's growth strategy".

Valeria Veneziano: "After the enthusiasm expressed for our firm's bike-sharing fleet, the recent re-structuring of the Milan office according to  BREEAM green building principles, the collaboration with tree planting projects and the multiple other daily activities that we already implement, we are now embarking on a path to measure and reduce our carbon footprint  according to the ISO 14064-1 certification parameters. This is the first step towards our target of maximum reduction and total compensation of our carbon emissions. Within the end of 2022 we hope to satisfy all our energy needs with green energy generated exclusively  from renewable sources".

A constant flow of news and development in addition to the existing social initiative projects: the part-ners of Osborne Clarke Italy are founders of #FindTheOrangeOnlus, the non-profit association that finances scientific research projects, focusing on technological and digital projects, to improve healthcare.

Riccardo Roversi: "In many ways, we have been pioneers in recognising the effects of our actions in the  community to which we belong, and numerous projects have arisen spontaneously from the commitment and enthusiasm of our entire team. The time is now right to formalise and consolidate this commitment, making it a strategic element of our growth".
