Sonja advises national and international companies on all matters relating to collective and individual employment law. Her particular expertise are the IT and real estate industries. She also supports companies in drafting and negotiating service contracts for managing directors, board members as well as for interim managers.
Sonja advises companies from the UK and US, many from the tech, media and comms industry, when entering the market, in the expansion of staff, and for all HR structures and processes in Germany.
Sonja qualified as a lawyer in 2004 and has been a specialist in employment law since 2009. She worked with well-known law firms in Düsseldorf and London before joining Osborne Clarke in 2006. She acquired a Master of Law in Labour Law (LL.M.) in the 2001/2002 academic year after studying at the prestigious London School of Economics (LSE) where she acquired additional international expertise.
Sonja regularly publishes and holds talks about employment law topics including webinars for the Quadriga University of Applied Sciences in Berlin. She publishes and lectures regularly about employment law topics and is co-author of the “Handbuch Organverträge” [Handbook for Executive Contracts] (Schmidt/Holthausen, beck-Verlag).
