Neil Simon-Weaver advises companies on all matters of IT law, specialising in German and European data protection law and digital regulation.

He advises clients in the Technology, Media and Communications, Renewable Energy and Real Estate sectors. This includes advising on international data flows and data usage business models, especially in the areas of IoT and Big Data. He is also experienced in advising clients on exchanges with data protection authorities including contentious proceedings.

Prior to joining Osborne Clarke in 2020 after studying in Mannheim and Toulouse, the English native speaker worked as a fully qualified German lawyer for a multidisciplinary consulting firm in the field of IT and data protection law.

Neil also regularly publishes legal articles, especially on data protection issues.
