Matt is an Associate Director in Osborne Clarke's real estate team with broad experience in all aspects of commercial real estate, including property development, landlord and tenant matters, financing transactions and acquisitions and disposals of high-value investment assets and portfolios.
He advises property developers, institutional investors, corporates, lenders and private equity funds based in the UK and internationally.
Matt has particular expertise in large-scale mixed-use urban regeneration projects, including pre-letting and letting work for developers and tenants. He has spent time seconded to the in-house legal teams of Argent Related and Lendlease.
He is also experienced in leading teams advising clients on the acquisition and financing of high-value investment assets and portfolios in the logistics sector (including buying and selling property through corporate acquisitions and disposals).
Matt joined Osborne Clarke in February 2020 from the London office of Herbert Smith Freehills, where he trained and qualified in 2015.

Advise Mirastar on its investments in the UK logistics market, acting on acquisitions and financing of standing assets and forward purchases of development projects with a value in excess of £500million.
Advised KKR (in joint venture with Mirastar) on the acquisition of four UK logistics assets in Harlow for £160million, the first UK acquisition for KKR’s Core+ strategy for Real Estate.
Advised Related Argent on the first retail lettings at Brent Cross Town, Related Argent and Barnet Council’s 180-acre, £7bn new neighbourhood in North West London.
Advised on pre-let agreements of various large logistics units at St Modwen Park, Gloucester.
