Julian advises on corporate M&A and private equity transactions, with particular expertise in the energy and infrastructure sector and a focus on utility‑scale solar PV and battery energy storage systems (BESS). He acts for developers, infrastructure and private equity funds, corporates and family offices on complex national and cross‑border deals, providing pragmatic, execution‑focused counsel that optimises value while managing risk.

Julian’s work spans platform and portfolio acquisitions, joint ventures, minority and majority investments, co‑development arrangements, shareholder agreements and project exits. He coordinates closely with regulatory, real estate, construction and finance workstreams to streamline due diligence and closing, and is known for clear, commercially grounded negotiation. With an MBA from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, Julian brings strong business insight to structuring bankable transactions and aligning the priorities of investors, lenders, and operations.

He is particularly engaged in issues central to the energy transition and enjoys helping clients scale platforms across multiple jurisdictions. Clients value his responsiveness, solution‑orientation and steady management of critical path items. Outside of transactions, Julian follows market developments in storage, hybridisation and merchant risk management.
