Jan Marco Aatz advises clients on all aspects of German and European merger control and competition law.
He represents and advises clients on all merger control and competition law aspects before the European Commission, the German Federal Cartel Office and before courts. He regularly advises clients on all antitrust and competition law aspects of cooperation (including research and development cooperation as well as sales and marketing cooperation), the set up and design of distribution systems and contracts, and the implementation of competition compliance programs.
Marco regularly publishes articles on antitrust and competition law issues and has particular sector specific expertise in the life sciences and healthcare as well as the retail and consumer sector.
Marco studied law at the Ruhr-University Bochum. In his legal traineeship, he specialized in competition law with stages at the German Federal Cartel Office and the Deutsche Telekom in Bonn as well as an international law firm in Düsseldorf. He joined Osborne Clarke in 2018.
