Georgina is a commercial lawyer, specialising in technology transactions, data privacy, intellectual property, media rights and e-commerce.
Georgina has been heavily involved in the procurement of IT outsourcing and telecoms contracts, with a particular focus on drafting and negotiating the intellectual property and data protection aspects of those contracts. Georgina’s role at Osborne Clarke includes advising on complex software, technology and licensing arrangements, the protection and exploitation of intellectual property rights and a range of data privacy issues. Georgina has recently spent 4 months on secondment to one of the UK’s leading data solutions providers, advising on regulatory issues.
Georgina also advises on content exploitation, digital media, and e-commerce issues. Her work at Osborne Clarke includes drafting and negotiating content licenses for digital media platforms, and advising on consumer law issues arising from the trading of goods, services and digital content online.
Georgina qualified in October 2013 and joined Osborne Clarke as an associate in our Commercial team in February 2015. She has recently obtained a Diploma in Intellectual Property Law and Practice from Oxford University.
