Karen Frehmel-Kück advises national and international companies on all aspects of corporate law and (corporate) capital markets law.

She focuses on advising (European) stock corporations and groups of companies, in particular on ongoing advice, (avoidance of) directors' and officers' liability and the preparation and conduct of supervisory board and general meetings. Karen also advises on group law and restructurings as well as transactions involving (listed) stock corporations and VC-related stock corporation law. She advises on corporate capital markets law and IPO readiness (including change of legal form) and post-IPO issues.

Karen studied law in Berlin and Rome and completed her legal clerkship in Hamburg, Brussels (EU Commission), Munich and New York. She worked on her doctorate at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law in Hamburg and continues to lecture on corporate law and reorganization law. 

Before joining Osborne Clarke, she worked for several years in an international law firm in Munich and Frankfurt, as corporate counsel for an international automotive group and most recently in a law firm specializing in VC advice.
