David is a certified specialist lawyer for employment law. He advises national and international companies extensively on all aspects of individual and collective labour and employment law.

He specialises in the labour and employment law support of M&A transactions and restructuring of companies in Germany. David particularly focuses on issues concerning transfers of undertakings, industrial constitution and co-determination law.

Furthermore, he has proven expertise in connection with cross-border projects and the formation of European Companies (SEs). As a native Spanish speaker, David also advises Spanish-speaking clients regarding German labour and employment law issues.

David also regularly advises on service contracts for General Managers and Managing Directors (and their termination). In addition to out-of-court advice, he frequently represents clients in proceedings before local and state labour courts throughout Germany, as well as before the Federal Labour Court.

Before joining Osborne Clarke in November 2012, David was local partner of White & Case.

He regularly publishes and lectures in the field of labour law and is named as “frequently recommended lawyer” by JUVE-Handbook.
