Ben is a Senior Associate in Osborne Clarke's financial institutions group. He specialises in the regulation of financial services and products offered to consumers and small businesses, including credit and payments.

Ben is experienced in advising banks and other finance providers on all aspects of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 and associated conduct of business rules. He regularly drafts suites of regulated lending documents and associated terms for a variety of products, including loans and overdrafts.

Ben also has a particular interest in advising fintechs on the regulatory perimeter and on structuring new and innovative products.

Ben studied law at the University of Southampton and joined Osborne Clarke's financial institutions group in December 2019. Prior to joining Osborne Clarke, Ben worked in-house at a leading retail bank.
