International legal practice Osborne Clarke has advised founder Niall McGarry and his fellow shareholders in the fast-growing digital and social media agency, Fabric Social, on its sale to the leading global marketing and communications group, Publicis Groupe UK.
Through this sale, Publicis Groupe UK has strengthened its PR, social and influence capabilities in the UK, with Fabric Social adding specialist social expertise to its portfolio. Founder, Niall McGarry, together with the senior management team of Ronan Doolin, Alex Kalli, Lauren Sarginson and Laura Tannenbaum, will remain with Fabric Social to ensure it remains a market leader in the space.
This deal not only demonstrates a continuation of Osborne Clarke’s strong track record in supporting founder-led businesses on strategic exits, but also highlights our deep expertise in the TMT sector, particularly in the area of digital and social media, which is so active and key right now.
