Osborne Clarke advises Sony Interactive Entertainment on its acquisition of Cinemersive Labs

International legal practice Osborne Clarke has advised Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE), a leader in the global video game industry, on its acquisition of Cinemersive Labs, a UK-based machine learning and computer vision company.

Founded in 2022, Cinemersive Labs brings together a specialised team with deep expertise in computer vision and machine learning. Following the acquisition, the Cinemersive Labs team will join SIE’s Visual Computing Group, focusing on advanced gameplay visuals and visual computing technologies.

The deal was executed by a multidisciplinary Osborne Clarke team, combining corporate, commercial, regulatory, employment and tax expertise.
