Richard Porter

Richard Porter is a partner in Osborne Clarke's Corporate team. He is a Mergers and Acquisition (M&A) specialist with over 15 years' experience, including in the tech, media and comms and energy transition sectors. 

Richard advises international corporations, private capital and financial institutions on a wide range of cross-border corporate transactions, including private and public mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, equity issues and restructurings.

He has been recommended by Legal 500 in Corporate and M&A, Energy and Private Equity, as well as featuring in its global Green Guide. He was also named a Rising Star Partner for M&A in Singapore by IFLR1000 in 2023 and 2024 and nominated for Dealmaker of the Year at the ALB SE Asia Law Awards and Private Equity Lawyer of the Year at the Asia Legal Awards, each in 2024.
