Following a comprehensive tendering process, international legal practice Osborne Clarke has been reappointed to Vodafone’s legal panel.
Highlighted for its ongoing commitment to innovation in legal services as well as environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) factors, Osborne Clarke was selected as a key panel advisor, along with seven other firms.
Jane Park-Weir, Vodafone’s Joint Client Partner at Osborne Clarke, commented: “We’ve been on the Vodafone panel since 2014 and have an incredibly collaborative relationship. Our businesses are very culturally aligned and it’s great to be able to continue our D&I and ESG journeys together in particular, in parallel with providing a top tier full client service. We are thrilled to be reappointed and we look forward to carrying on our work with the Vodafone team.”
Osborne Clarke recently launched its three-dimensional (3D) international client strategy that combines legal expertise, sector understanding and transformational insight. It responds to the macroeconomic factors that are shaping business over the next five years such as digital transformation, the transition to a net zero future and adapting the ever-evolving urban dynamics of how we live, work and travel.
The Firm’s 3D strategy is underpinned by its commitment to being an environmentally-friendly, socially-aware and well-governed business. The Firm regularly talks to clients about ESG issues and proactively runs collaboration sessions, networking events and roundtables to share ideas.
Osborne Clarke recently established the Diversity Champions Forum, a new diversity and inclusion governance board, supported the roll-out of the Mindful Business Charter with a toolkit to promote better work wellbeing and in the last year signed up to: the Law Society’s Women in Law Pledge; Race Fairness Commitment; Race at Work Charter and Stonewall’s Trans Rights are Human Rights’ campaign. The Firm ranks 13th in Thomson Reuters’ recently published UK Law Firm Brand Index and has been in the top 10 of RollOnFriday’s Firm of the Year independent employee survey for five consecutive years.
