Osborne Clarke France announces the appointment of Mathilde Rousseau, Christophe Arfan, Antoine Boubazine and Clément Petit as counsels within its restructuring, Technology Innovation and Media (TIM), employment and tax teams, respectively.

Mathilde Rousseau has been working in the restructuring/insolvency team alongside partner Nassim Ghalimi and counsel Paul Lafuste since 2016. She provides both advisory and litigation services to a wide range of clients, including start-ups, SMEs, mid-cap and large-cap companies, insolvency professionals, management companies and turnaround funds.

Mathilde has an in-depth expertise in amicable proceedings for the prevention of difficulties and collective proceedings. She works on complex cases with high strategic stakes and assists her clients both in risk prevention and in crisis recovery.

Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2016, Mathilde holds a Master 2 in General Private Law and a Master 2 in Insolvency Law from Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne University, as well as a Magistère in Economic Law from Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne University.

Christophe Arfan joined Osborne Clarke's Technology Innovation Media (TIM) team in January 2023 and works alongside partners Xavier Pican and Claire Bouchenard as an intellectual property specialist.

Christophe focuses primarily on issues relating to patents, trademarks, copyright and trade secrets, including those related to new technologies, artificial intelligence (AI) and software, and has built up solid experience in complex litigation in these areas, particularly in national proceedings and before the Unified Patent Court (UPC).

Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2016, Christophe holds a Master's degree in Intellectual Property (PLAI) from Paris II Panthéon-Assas University and a Master's degree in Civil and Criminal Procedure (Justice & Trials) from Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne University. Since 2017, he has been teaching in the Master 2 "Industrial Property " (Paris II) programme directed by Prof. J-C. Galloux.

Antoine Boubazine joined Osborne Clarke's employment law team in March 2023 and works alongside partners Maxime Pigeon and Jérôme Scapoli on employment law issues, mainly for international groups.

Antoine assists companies at all stages of their development, during their growth but also during restructuring, combining legal expertise with an understanding of operational constraints. In particular, he has developed expertise in providing employment law support for strategic operations carried out by the Corporate/M&A teams.

Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2015, Antoine holds a Master's degree in General Private Law from Paris II Panthéon-Assas University.

Clément Petit joined the tax law team, led by Dorothée Chambon, in November 2023. He assists French and international groups as well as investment funds with their national and international tax issues.

Clément specialises in transactional tax matters, intra-group restructuring and the tax structuring of management packages. He also assists his clients with issues related to VAT and the international mobility of their employees/executives.

Admitted to the Paris Bar in January 2017, Clément holds a Master 2 in Business Law and Taxation DJCE from the University of Bordeaux and a certificate of specialisation in tax law from the University of Montpellier.
