Having launched its Wellbeing at Work Strategy earlier in the year, Osborne Clarke continues to prioritise mental health and wellness with a new strategic appointment.

Sarah Twite joins the firm's Responsible Business Team as Wellbeing Strategy Lead. With a strong background in diversity, inclusion and wellbeing, Sarah joins from another prestigious firm where she spent more than 20 years in a similar capacity.

Sarah's role is to lead on delivering the strategic action plan that will support positive wellbeing at the firm across several key objectives: identifying and tackling work-related root causes of poor mental wellbeing; transforming line management; reviewing and refreshing the firm's wellbeing offering to ensure efficacy; and establishing effective governance to ensure the wellbeing strategy delivers the desired outcomes.

"You only have to look at the headlines to know how important mental health and broader wellbeing is for businesses right now. That's why it's so key that wellbeing is built into the structure and processes of businesses.

"Osborne Clarke is a firm that punches above its weight in terms of its ambition to put wellbeing at the heart of its business, but like all businesses it's important the firm is constantly evolving to meet the needs of its people. I look forward to working with the rest of the team to ensure the firm continues to be a place where people feel they belong, understand expectations, can be happy and healthy, and are able to achieve great things for themselves, our clients and the business."
