Osborne Clarke advises founders of LegalTechTalk on strategic transaction with Hyve Group

Published on 9th July 2026

International legal practice Osborne Clarke has advised the founders and majority shareholders of LegalTechTalk Limited, Europe’s leading legal technology and transformation event, on their sale of the company to global B2B events business, Hyve International Events.  The deal creates a stronger platform for LegalTechTalk’s next stage of growth across Europe, the USA and beyond, including the recently announced launch of LegalTechTalk USA in Miami Beach.

Osborne Clarke advised the founders across the full transaction lifecycle, from preparatory steps to execution, bringing together its Media & Entertainment and Technology-sector expertise with a multi-disciplinary team and a strong track record in legal-tech and B2B events. The transaction underscores the firm’s ability to support innovative, tech-enabled businesses and sector-shaping platforms on strategic M&A and international expansion.

This transaction represents a landmark moment for LegalTechTalk.  Bradley, Mikkel and the team have built a truly best-in-class platform and brand at the heart of the legal tech ecosystem - and of course a truly impressive, well organised and slick event - and this partnership with Hyve will allow them now to scale that on a broader international basis.  Advising LegalTechTalk on this deal played directly to Osborne Clarke’s strengths in TMT in general, and specifically the events sector, and it was a real pleasure to support the founders and the business for the next phase of its growth journey of global expansion.

Selling a business is one of the most important moments in any founder's journey, and having the right advisers makes all the difference. Ken, Rav, Courtney and the wider Osborne Clarke team quickly became an extension of our own team throughout the process. They combined meticulous attention to detail with a pragmatic, commercial mindset, always keeping the transaction moving and helping us focus on the decisions that mattered most. Beyond their technical expertise, they were simply a pleasure to work with, and we're incredibly grateful for their support.

Mikkel Jensen, Co-Founder & COO, LegalTechTalk.
