International law practice Osborne Clarke has advised Jiminny Holdings Limited ("Jiminny"), a UK headquartered conversation intelligence provider supporting sales teams across the world, on its US$16.5 million series A funding round to fuel product development and international growth. The funding round was led by Kennet Partners, a transatlantic growth equity firm.

The Osborne Clarke team assisting Jiminny was led by Partner Robert Wood who was supported by Senior Associate Josephine Healy, Senior Associate Magnus Williams and Associate James Robertson.

Robert said:

"Jiminny's cutting-edge technology highlights how embracing the benefits of the digital world can enhance businesses day-to-day operations. It was fantastic to support the company on its Series A funding round, which will allow further innovation and growth in international markets."

Founded in 2016, Jiminny's platform is utilised by sales teams to record, transcribe and analyse new and existing customer conversations in real-time, producing insights to improve performance and ultimately drive revenue and growth.

With more sales teams looking to utilise tools suited to hybrid working, scale-up operations and professionalise sales team coaching, demand for conversation intelligence solutions has increased in recent years. Senior business leaders are now looking to use technology to upskill current sales teams against the backdrop of challenging job markets and narrowing budgets.

The financing will accelerate Jiminny's recruitment and allow the company to double its R&D budget to further drive innovation, with a focus on developing solutions to analyse emotion in video, automated scoring of call interactions and real-time insights generated form live transcriptions to drive true visibility of performance.
