Kasanova S.p.A. makes a fresh start: Restructuring of Italy’s leading home goods retailer successfully completed

Published on 9th June 2026

The restructuring of Kasanova S.p.A., a leading brand in Italy’s home goods, furniture, and textiles sector with an extensive network of stores throughout the country, has been successfully completed.

The operation, structured as part of a certified restructuring plan pursuant to article 56 of the Italian Business Crisis and  nsolvency Code, marks the culmination of a complex and ambitious process aimed at the company’s full relaunch. The driving force behind the initiative is the well-known Campania-based entrepreneur Antonio Bernardo, through the company Pamaf Retail S.r.l., which subscribed to and fully paid up a capital increase reserved for it, thereby becoming the sole shareholder of Kasanova.

The transaction also involved the Company’s creditors—financial institutions, suppliers, and landlords—who supported Kasanova throughout the restructuring process by renegotiating their respective claims.

Osborne Clarke advised Kasanova S.p.A. on all legal aspects with a team led by partner Filippo Canepa and with associates Valentina Incorvaia and Cristina Ubertis Albano.

The completion of the transaction ensures the full continuity of Kasanova’s operations and safeguards thousands of jobs, confirming the soundness and effectiveness of the restructuring process undertaken.
