Seamus is a Partner in the London Corporate team at Osborne Clarke, specialising in M&A and Private Equity transactions.
Seamus has over 11 years' experience advising Private Equity investors, selling shareholders, founders and management teams on all aspects of Private Equity buy-outs and M&A transactions. Seamus regularly supports clients on their buy-and-build strategies and pan-European roll-ups, with a focus on streamlining processes in order to undertake multiple acquisitions in short timescales.
Seamus regularly works with Private Equity investors such as Queen's Park Equity, Tresmares Capital, and Mobeus Equity Partners. His clients have described him as a commercial lawyer, capable of understanding his clients' needs and priorities, in order to deliver successful outcomes.

In addition to advising Private Equity investors, Seamus regularly advises management teams, and selling shareholders on all aspects of private equity and M&A transactions. He has an acute understanding of the Private Equity and M&A markets, which enables him to provide management and selling shareholders alike with commercial advice and guide them through the process.

- Queen's Park Equity on their investment into Canford Law, a legal services business.
- Mobeus Equity Partners on their investment into Growth=MC2, a brand consultancy with tech and AI at its core.
- Tresmares Capital on their minority investment into Logitek Software Ltd, trading as Convey Logistics.
- Empower Group on various transaction as part of their roll-up in the M&E sector.
- The Management team of Ava Global Logistics on the MBO by Icat Logistics Inc, backed by US private equity investor, New Atlas Capital.
Whilst Seamus advises on a range of sectors including Education, Financial Services, Business Services and TMT, Seamus has a particular focus on Life Sciences & Healthcare. He has previously advised the management team of Torbay Pharmaceuticals on the investment by NorthEdge, Kester Capital on their investment into MAP Patient Access and the management team of BMI Healthcare on the MBO by Circle Health.
In addition to his Corporate capabilities, Seamus heads up the Venture Debt Warrant team, providing advice to venture and growth lenders such as HSBC Innovation Bank (previously known as Silicon Valley Bank), BootStrap and Columbia Lake Partners.
In his spare time, having hung-up his rugby boots, Seamus has taken up triathlons and golf, and loves nothing more than watching live sport (particularly rugby).
