Sascha Nicolai Grimm advises national and international companies such as banks and start-ups on capital markets and financial regulatory issues. He focuses on regulatory advice on banking, financial services, investment products and payments with regard to digital transformation through distributed ledger technologies.

One of his focuses is advising on financial technology topics. This includes blockchain projects such as crypto securities, ICOs and STOs, crypto currencies and NFTs, as well as alternative investments, investments funds and crowdfunding.

He also assists clients on granting licenses from financial authorities on regulated sectors.

Sascha studied law in Heidelberg with a focus on corporate and capital markets law. Afterwards he wrote a doctoral thesis on a liability and procedural law topic with references to capital investment law and worked in an international law firm on corporate and real estate law topics. During his legal traineeship, he clerked at an international law firm in Frankfurt am Main with focus on capital markets and commercial law. Before joining Osborne Clarke, Sascha worked as a lawyer in commercial and corporate law for a law firm in Heidelberg.
