Rouven advises national and international companies on all areas of corporate law, focusing on M&A transactions, venture capital financing, and start-ups.

He advises founders of new businesses on all stages of development – from establishing and expanding their start-ups to exits, as well as venture capitalists and other investors in relation to their investments in promising companies.

In 2016, Rouven Siegemund worked in Osborne Clarke’s Silicon Valley offices in Palo Alto and San Francisco, helping US clients in particular with their expansion into Europe. He continues to advise clients on their international expansion plans.

In addition to his professional practice as a lawyer, Rouven is involved with numerous national and international start-up events in the capacity as coach, mentor, and jury member.

After studying law in Cologne and Clermont-Ferrand, France, Rouven worked as a research associate at an international German law firm in the field of corporate law. He completed his legal traineeship in Cologne and Montreal, Canada, where he spent three months working at the renowned Canadian law firm Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP.

Rouven joined Osborne Clarke in March 2010 and is a member of the German-Canadian Business Club and the German Canadian Association.
