Robert is a partner at Osborne Clarke's London office, specialising in fund formation, secondaries transactions and investor representation across private equity, venture capital and private credit.
He advises mid-market and emerging private fund managers on the full fund lifecycle, from initial structuring and first close through to final closing, and on liquidity solutions including GP-led restructurings and continuation vehicles. He represents institutional Limited Partners on primary fund commitments, co-investment programmes and secondary portfolio transactions, acting on both LP-led secondary sales and acquisitions and GP-led processes on the investor side.
Robert advises on regulatory matters in connection with fundraising, including compliance with the European Union Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation and the United Kingdom Sustainability Disclosure Requirements.
Robert's practice is built on long-standing relationships with managers, institutional investors and intermediaries across the private funds market. He also draws on detailed market data and fund terms analysis to provide commercially-focused advice, enabling his clients to benchmark their position and negotiate with a clear understanding of prevailing market practice.
